So Saturday I chose to go watch Brett fly. It was so cold!! But the sunrise was amazing!! But while I was watching him perform his traffic patterns above the airport, all of the sudden he landed the helicopter and his instructor got out and started walking towards me while Brett flew off!! His instructor Ken told me that he was letting Brett perform his solo flight, FOR THE FIRST TIME! He felt he was ready, and capable of flying by himself! It was nerve-racking, but amazing to see. The first pictures are of Brett preflighting the helicopter, and of the new blue chopper that the school just got in. They are now running patriotic... RED, WHITE and BLUE.

Congratulations Brett on the first solo flight!! That is so awesome! I told matt you were going to be diong that and he has some serious envy! Way to go!
Jeff and I took a night flight over Vegas in November and I loved it! I thought of you actually when I was taking off. I bet you just love it! Jeff made the comment on how he wished he knew how to fly. I think I'm going to keep him grounded with the occasional flight with people who actually know what they are doing.
