Jamaican Baby mon! No problem mon!

So let me tell you about my wonderful Thursday... It all started at 2:30 in the morning when the alarm went off in mine and bretts hotel room. So i rolled out of bed and packed my bags to climb onto a bus that had to drive an hour and a half to the montego bay airport. I then had to wait at the terminal for an hour or more for a plane was to take me to miami. As we hit the soil of florida i looked at my boarding pass for my connecting flight which read departure time 11:15a thinking im making good timing beatre my phone said 10:00. I make it thru the hustle and bustle of immigration and customs. Now on to baggage claim where i wait and wait and wait... And wait! No bag! I look at the clock and its 11:00! And i still have to recheck my bag and find my gate. Finally at ten after my bag drops down. I grab it and run! I looked like i was trying to sneak across the border sprinting with a paniced face! I check my bag and sprint across the three day hike of the airport and get my terminal at 11:29! Crap i had missed it for sure! I take a seat to catch my breathe and keep from crying or laughing because my emotions we mixed up from being so tired...when a voice from heaven sang down to me saying, Now boarding flight number 1518 to nashville tennessee! Yes! I hadn't missed it after all. The plane was leave coming in. So in celebration i go grab me more airport food and go take a pee. Its now 2:00pm and im in nashville waiting for my next flight to chicago and then from there finally to home! Where I will arrive at around 9 or 10. Oh and did i mention that i am alone and have been from the time i stepped onto the bus, because brett had to stay in jamaica and finish work. This is the first time ever i have had to fly and handle an airport alone! By the way brett i love you, but you are never booking my flights again! :)

Uh what who is Tiara Parker?!

So we got up at 3:30 this morning to get to the airport to catch our flight to Jamaica. Way to early with only three hours of sleep! So we get car parked and get ready to check in and realized we had booked Tiaras ticket with her married name and her passport says her maiden name! Crap. So they told us they would charge is 100 bucks to do it if they could. I winked and smiled and said ok. Luckly she was able to and didn't charge us anything. I know it was the wink!

Start of memorial weekend!

Today we visited Tiara's fathers grave. We got a cool little John Deere tractor and put some dirt in the bucket(dirt was my idea!) it was a nice day. We laid back and watched the clouds go by. We saw a dragon, a kangaroo, and a cow playing the guitar! Tiara found the guitar playin cow... She is so creative! One day before our trip to Jamaica!

Good bye exploder

Happy 3 month anniversary Tiara! Today we traded Tiara's blue ford explorer or "exploder" for a nice new Aggie Blue 2007 Chevy Cobalt! Man I hate spending on big ticket items! It took us weeks to decide! We drive salesmen nuts. Good thing this one was patient! More pictures of the new blue beauty to come...

Plantin our herbs with our green thumbs!

The snow has finally melted... At least for this week. So Tiara and I started our garden! The picture was a little dark but we plan on doing some more green thumbin tomorrow! We have no idea how well a garden will do this high in the mountains, but we are bound to try.
PS how come she gets to plant and I have to do all the diggin!! ;)

Starting a little early with their truck driving days!

Latin bus!

So this is the line of Hispanic kids that we waited 10 minutes for them all to load. In another place it took two buses to pick up all the kids! This population is the backbone of our city and many other cities throughout the US! What would happen if they were all deported... Our economy would die without them!

Stop the insanity!

So we were going to plant flowers today for fhe... Can't do that very well with a couple inches of snow on the ground! There was no snow when we went to bed and the grass was green and the trees were starting to bud. But oh well maybe summer and spring will come next week. :(

We did have a nice weekend. We went to my families on Saturday. Then Tiaras family on Sunday. We went to church with Geoff and Sevana. While at church I was holding there youngest baby and we walked into church with them into Sunday school. I was playin with the baby and we walked in late and I thought Geoff and Sevana sat up front and I sat down next to who I thought was Tiara, after I sat down I looked over and realized I had sat next to Tiaras sister. So I stood up embarrased and said oops wrong wife. It was pretty funny. All I saw was blond hair and a bright colored shirt! I thought it was my wife?! Lol.

I never know what My students are going to show up looking like for school!

What the...snow!

So its the first of May right?! I thought it was till I awoke this morning and found 2 inches of snow! It was nice warm weather when I got home from work last night, the grass was green and I even got to do some yard work making the yard nice and beautiful... Or attempting! So I guess I will get the cars snow brush off and freeze my butt off scraping that snow I thought and hoped we were done with!
