About Me and My Loves
Howdy Y'all and Welcome! I have been married to my studly hubby for almost 5 years now; who is an energetic, outgoing, handyman helicopter pilot. We recently made our first big move cross country from Utah to Texas with our now 20mo. old "Rae of Sunshine" Azure. We love experiencing anything and everything and holding nothing back. We love dreaming and creating things of all kinds together. I hope that this blog will help our families back home keep up with our busy life, and maybe inspire some along the way...from family to home, money to food, holidays, travel, photography and crafts. this... this is my life!.... Enjoy.

Ringing in the newyear...stuck in wash!

After visiting our good friends too wish them good luck on the long move and new adventure, we saw this inviting sign to stop and wash our car...so we did! We pulled in and let the auto wash do its job.

All the cycles were working fine untill the final airdry! The door would not open to the front nor the rear. We were trapped. We honked and honked but no one came. Tiara saw a button that said emergency door open. So I jumped out of the car and pushed the button...nothing happened! So I got back in the car and got on our good ole trusty GPS and found the gas station we were located at. It listed the phone number so I called them and told them we were stuck in their car wash. The guy came and pryed open the door and let us out! He did give us another car wash so we could finish the dry cycle. So two washes for the price of one! Luckly the second time the guy was standing by and pulled the door up when the dryers turned on. Happy 2009 almost spent stuck in a carwash!

Stuck in a car wash... almost run over by a jet... Someone is out to get you, I think.

Seriously, they only gave you one free car wash for that? They should have thrown in some beverages at the very least. I always thought a car wash would be a good place to make out.

I have to admit Matt and I are openly laughing about this! It might be a good place to make out except for the carbon monoxide if the car is on and the fridgid cache valley air if it is off! Glad you made it out! Happy New Year!
