About Me and My Loves

About Me and My Loves
Howdy Y'all and Welcome! I have been married to my studly hubby for almost 5 years now; who is an energetic, outgoing, handyman helicopter pilot. We recently made our first big move cross country from Utah to Texas with our now 20mo. old "Rae of Sunshine" Azure. We love experiencing anything and everything and holding nothing back. We love dreaming and creating things of all kinds together. I hope that this blog will help our families back home keep up with our busy life, and maybe inspire some along the way...from family to home, money to food, holidays, travel, photography and crafts. this... this is my life!.... Enjoy.

Second Phase in Our First Anniversary

So this was the second part of our celebration...Friday we went to the Temple and then we headed up to Oakley to relax in the mountains and have some fun!! Don't ask but we did find some fun masks so of course we modeled them, oh and the dragon that is hanging on the wall was our good friend Mr. A...although we did cover him with a sheet in the middle of the night because we couldn't sleep with him starring at us. We also went snowmobiling. That was a BLAST!! But boy were we sore for a very long time!! And every night we challenged each other to a dual of scrabble! Brett won...I'm not good with big words. Maybe thats because I teach 3 YEAR OLDS!!
But everyone watch the video of Brett showing off on the sled!! Its great!

After our Oasis in the Mountains we headed to my sisters house for my birthday party!!

First Phase of our First Anniversary...

So we celebrated our First Anniversary on February 19th, and we had a BLAST!!! So it all started on the day of our Anniversary it was a Thursday. We drove down to Salt Lake where we stayed at my moms cousin's Bed and Breakfast (www.armstrongmanor.com). This is our room. It was called February Interlude. This whole place is antique and Victorian looking. And each room represents a month. Ours was the best because it had a spiral staircase leading up to a romantic loft with a jetted tub with a round vaulted roof. We enjoyed ourselves and relaxed.

Ride of a Lifetime...

So we are not good at this blogging lately... But here it is. So ever since Brett and I started on the journey of Helicopters, I told him that I was to be the first one he gets to take up in the air! So for my Valentines Day Gift Brett took me up in the R44 (the 4 seater helicopter). P.S. This was also the VERY FIRST TIME Brett flew the R44!
