"Rooster one day, feather duster the next"...
These little beasts are what lurk in the bushes and on fence posts waiting for my blue car to come by. Why I have had such luck in the past 6 months hitting these random species, no one knows.

My 4th of July as a Pilots Wife...

This is a picture of the smoke ball that Mark lit so that we in the helicopter could tell which way the wind was blowing...great idea mark!

This is us making a flyover to inspect that nothing is in our way of landing.

No one would believe that we landed the helicopter on this tiny 16foot trailer but we did!

Brett and Trevor were the amazing pilots that made the awesome touch down. And it only took two tries! I thought it was going to be more. That is me in the back, I was videoing our land onto the trailer. It was intense!! It was also my first time flying with the doors off and it was so awesome!!! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Mark was guiding us onto the trailer and making sure that we were straight and in the middle so that when we touched down the trailer didn't tip. If you look close you will notice that we are in a hover above the trailer about a foot off of it while we are chatting away with mark! I FREAKIN LOVE HELICOPTERS!!

And...WE DID IT!!
We had to wait forever in the parking lot for the parade to start, but we turned alot of heads and made people interested.Monday, July 6, 2009
2007 Chevy Cobalt LT
So this isn't our exact car but it is its twin until I can get our cars beautiful face up. But we are selling our car to help pay for our school loans. Its a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT. 36,000 miles 30 to 40 mpg. Power windows and locks, a/c and heat, cd and MP3 auxillary input, like new interior. And we just put new tires on it last month and got its oil changed. Its a great car and we hate to sell it but sacrifices are a part of life. So if anyone is or knows someone who is looking for a great economical car give us a call.Saturday, June 27, 2009
Summertime...
Brett had to study all weekend so we decided to go for a picnic up the canyon. So we took some lunch, our hammock and his books. We had a nice relaxing time by the river... I slept and got sunburned and he studied. Love It!

uh you know Kevin
Tiara and I were just thinking of Brian Regan tonight and just thought of our favorite quote from him.
"One of our activities was making bike ramps out in the street. Cuz that’s where all the cars are. Put a cement block out in the middle of the road and you angle a piece of wood up to it, and the object was for one kid to get on his bike, and ride as fast as he could and see how high he could go. And that’s as far as we planned. It wasn’t until the first kid was like flipping in the air, “What happens now?! We don’t know!”
He hit a mailbox. We had a bunch of nine-year-old paramedics running up–we didn’t know what to do. Get up there “Aaahhhrraaaah! Get some leaves!” (You do what you can.)
Hey that was the easy part. THe hard part was being the kid that got sent in first to calm mom down before you dragged in the actual banged up brother.
You’d have to be the point man, ya know, “Go tell mom.”
“Uh-Uh-no-no.”
“It’s your turn.”
“Uh”
So you’d have to run in, “Hey, hey mom, uh OK, uh, uh, everthing’s fine.”
Ya know she bought that–yeah.
“Everything’s fine, I just wanted run in, at full speed. And uh, ya know, say hi, and uh, and uh, OK, so . . . Oh! You know Kevin? Uh OK, of course, OK. Well ya know like how his right arm, usually, usually, it bends, usually it would bend like that? OK, it’s now bendin’ like that right now. And it’s no big deal cuz we already looked at it but we were thinkin’ since you said that you had to go get milk later, anyway. So we were thinkin since you had to go anyway, ANYWAY, then we were all thinkin’ if when you go, if you just might wanna take him to the hospital.”
“And if you get peanut butter, get SMOOTH!”"
